For the green sample (smaller size, 2 colors version) I used approx. 100 metres / 109 yards DK weight yarn in each color. Yarn used for the sample (held double): Holst Garn Coast Uld Bomuld (55% Wool Merino, 45% Cotton; 350 m (383 yards) / 50 gr; colour: C1: Army (66) and C2: Asparagus (48). For the brown/orange sample (bigger size, 3 colors version) I used approx. 100 metres / 109 yards DK weight yarn for C1 and C2, approx. 35 metres /38.25 yards for C3. Yarn used for the sample (held double): for C1 Holst Garn Supersoft (50% Merino, 50% Shetland; 287 m (314 yards)/ 50 gr; colour: Coffee (094); For C2 and C3: Holst Garn Coast Uld Bomuld (55% Wool Merino, 45% Cotton; 350 m (383 yards) / 50 gr; colour: C2: Dove (02) and C3: Saffron (81). Circular needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4 mm (US 6) or needle size needed to obtain the gauge, DPNs size 4 mm (US 6) one set. Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
