Simple skate toe guards

A quick and simple pattern for crochet toe guards for roller skates. This pattern is worked in the round and has information for both a solid color version, and for the color changes to give the rainbow stripes shown in the photo. This pattern was designed for Riedell R3 skates but should work for most skates with similar size toe stops or removable toe stops. Notes on modifying for larger skates and toe stops are provided. You can mix it up and make it your own by using your own stripe pattern or working the pattern in a solid color and sewing on an applique design.
