The chevron texture is inspired by the pine cone of the alpine pine tree, Pinus Cembra. The simple-to-work chevron on each sock is followed by a swathe of relaxing stocking stitch. The socks are mirror images of each other. **RECOMMENDED YARN** 4 ply/fingering weight yarn in a composition suitable for socks **YARN USED** Opal Uni (100g; 425m \[465yds\]; 75% merino, 25% polyamide; 4ply/fingering), Pink 5194 Quantity – 250 \[285, 310, 385\]m / 274 \[312, 339, 421\]yds **SIZE** 1 \[2, 3, 4\] To fit = 18 \[20.5, 23, 25.5\]cm / 7 \[8, 9, 10\]” foot circumference. Finished dimensions = 16.5 \[18, 20.5, 22.5\]cm /6½ \[7¼, 8¼, 9\]” circumference at foot **GAUGE** 36 stitches by 50 rounds = 10cm \[4”\] in stocking stitch.
