**Knitting Pattern in English for a Slightly Oversized Sweater with a Classic Fit and a Striped Pattern, but with a Special Twist: I-Cord Stripes Creating the Highlight of the Design in Sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.** **Structure:** The Sweater is worked top down in one piece in stockinette stitch with I-cord stripes. First, the back part is worked back and forth in rows with increases to shape the shoulder lines to ensure a good fit and to create an interesting look with the I-cord stripes. As soon as the back part is long enough, the front parts are worked separately at first to shape the round neck while working the I-cord stripes as well. When the round neck is closed, the front part is finished in one piece. Then, front and back part are joined to the round as well by casting on new stitches under each armpit. The body is now finished in stockinette stitch in the round with I-cord stripes. A hem in 1x1 half twisted ribbing with twisted knit stitches is finishing off the body of the sweater. To work up the sleeves, stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round with I-cord stripes – and finished off with cuffs in 1x1 half twisted ribbing matching the body hem. Last, but not least, a double folded collar in 1x1 half twisted ribbing is worked along the neckline. The sweater has a classic fit and a straight cut.
