Thurso East Sweater is a chunky, oversized knit featuring a simple cable pattern throughout, creating a subtle texture similar to ripples on the sand. The sweater is worked from the top down. First the back is worked back and forth with short rows to shape the back. Stitches are then picked for the left and right fronts along the slanted edges of the back. A combination of short rows and increases are worked to shape the neckline. The fronts are then joined to work back and forth; once complete, the front and back are joined to work the body in the round.
