1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8) finished chest circumference between 92cm/36.25” and 171cm/67.25”.
To be worn with 10-20cm/4-8” positive ease. Pictured in size 2 with 10cm/4” positive ease.
The Noosa cardigan is worked flat in one piece top down, starting with the back. The beautiful cabled spine is worked in the centre of the piece with short rows used for the shoulder shaping. The back piece is worked to the underarms, then front pieces are picked up from the shoulder edges. After joining the fronts and the back, the rest of the body is done in one piece, starting from the underarms.
The deep v neck and double knitted button band give this cardigan a modern look but there is an option to complete a 1/1 Rib button band.
The sleeves are also worked top down, in the round, after picking up stitches from the body edges and working a short row sleeve cap. The sleeves end in a long cuff that mirrors the main body pattern.
