Heartlace Collar

Worked flat in rows. Needle size is gradually increased to shape the collar. Chart and written instructions included (chart located at end of pattern). Cable crosses are worked without a cable needle (6 video tutorials). Picot bind-off Tie straps are worked separately as I-cords; stitches are picked up along the edge. Gauge is not critical for this project. Yarn & Yardage Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair — approx. 10 g ≈ 100 m / 76 yds Knitting for Olive Merino — approx. 5 g ≈ 125 m / 137 yds Yarns held together as described above. Merino may be substituted with fine lurex or sequin thread for a decorative effect.
