Colette Cloche Hat

Dynamic, smart, sultry, and never basic! I hope this hat captures some of her mystery and complexity.* This hat can easily be made in a day using just one hank of super bulky yarn. The ribbed brim is worked flat and then seamed together into a knot. Step by step pictures included - it's much easier than you think and doesn't have to perfect to be pretty. The body of the hat is made by picking up stitches along the brim edge and then joined with a simple twisted cable. After that the rest is stockinetted stitch and finished with a few decrease rows. This hat can be made using circular needles with very flexible cables. I very much reccomend using dpns for the body of the hat, especially the decrease rows. Trust me it will be Much easier on your hands! A big shout out to my testers for helping to make this design perfect!
