Zigzag Kindle Sleeve

This is a written crochet pattern for the “Zigzag Kindle Sleeve". Instructions on how to make two different sleeve styles are included in this pattern- Style A: Rainbow style, and Style B: 2-colour style (black & purple in the example photos). The sleeve is primarily designed to fit a 11th gen (6-inch screen) Kindle, however a full explanation and guidance is included to allow you to easily customise the size to fit any e-reader. The pattern is available in both US and UK terms. The PDF file is 17 pages long with detailed instructions and lots of photos. In addition to Ravelry, this pattern is also available on my Etsy store to purchase. This pattern is suitable for crocheters that can comfortably identify chain-spaces and work into them, are comfortable working in rows/turning, can colour change and are already familiar with basic crochet stitches/techniques (e.g ch, sc, dc, etc). A detailed tutorial with images is included explaining how to make dc2tog stitches (=tr2tog in UK terms), but you will need to be (or able to become) very comfortable with this stitch as it is used extensively in the pattern. Sleeve pieces are worked flat in rows, then joined together. Materials & Tools Required: •Yarn in colours of your choice, all in (roughly) the same yarn weight category. I would recommend using yarn in a DK weight category or similar, but in theory you could use any weight category you want. •A crochet hook based on your yarn's weight. •Scissors •Tapestry/finishing needle •Stitch markers (optional)
