*Artist* is a fun and relaxed oversized T-shirt with dropped shoulders and extra-wide, elbow-length sleeves. The shirt has a very minimalist and simple stitch pattern, which makes this both an enjoyable and interesting knitting project. The generous width of the body and sleeves give a nice playfulness for the otherwise minimalist design, and Pauliina Leisti chose silk yarn for a cooling and luxurious feel. This garment has a certain bohemian feel to it, which inspired the name Artist. MATERIALS **Yarn:** 8 (9, 9, 10, 11) (12, 13, 14, 15) balls of Pure Silk by Knitting for Olive (100% bourette silk, 273 yds / 250 m – 50 g), in the colourway Rhubarb Juice. Or approx. 2020 (2275, 2430, 2660, 2900) (3095, 3335, 3620, 3850) yds / 1845 (2080, 2220, 2430, 2650) (2830, 3050, 3310, 3520) m of fingering-weight yarn. Alternative yarn options are for example Tynn Line by Sandnes Garn, Økologisk Sommeruld by CaMaRose or Bio Balance GOTS by BC Garn. The T-shirt is worked by holding 2 strands of fingering-weight yarn together. You could instead work with a single strand of DK-weight yarn, so long as the gauge is correct. If doing this, the yardage would be half of the amount above. **Needles:** US 4 / 3.5 mm 16–24" / 40–60 cm and 32–40" / 80–100 cm circular needles (for the body and sleeves), US 2.5 / 3 mm 32–40" / 80–100 cm circular needles (for the hem), and US 2.5 / 3 mm 16–24" / 40–60 cm circular needles (for the neck trim and cuffs). **Notions:** Removable stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders. GAUGE 20 sts x 32 rounds and rows to 4" / 10 cm on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles in Artist st patt, after blocking.
