While other gnomes study clockwork and mushrooms, Lars spends his days guiding his tiny herd through the deep forest. It’s said that he can predict the weather by the tilt of antlers and calm a spooked herd with nothing but a soft hum and a pocketful of lichen treats. Every winter, when the northern lights glow bright, Lars, wearing a hat too big for his head, guides his reindeer home through clear nights and dense blizzards – never lost and never late. **Measurements:** Total height of ~46 cm (18 inches) to top of hat. **Materials:** Berroco Vintage DK (100g) < 1 skein each of oats (2105), chocolate (2179), and buttercream (2102). 4.00 mm (size 6) double pointed needles Toy stuffing Beanbag (optional, but recommended) Tapestry needle Faux fur (10 cm x 10 cm) Fabric glue Stitch holder or spare cable needle The knitting chart for the hat is available as a pdf, but you will need to print and assemble it prior to use as it’s quite a big chart.
