Features: Preemie size: 6 cm / 2⅓ in foot length Ribbed socks with a double cuff Short row heel (German short rows) Knit from the cuff down YOU WILL NEED: ~15 g (0.5 oz) / approx. 60 m (66 yds) Regia Premium Pure merino yarn (or any smooth, non-fuzzy yarn suitable for preemies), ~ 100 g/400 m or 3,5 oz/ 437 yds 2.25 mm / US 1 knitting needles (DPNs or circular needles for magic loop) Tapestry needle, stitch marker, scissors REQUIRED SKILLS, METHODS USED: Casting on, knit and purl stitches k2tog, ssk Knitting in the round and flat German short rows (double stitch / DS) GAUGE & TENSION: 35 sts and 45 rows = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 inches in stockinette stitch, worked in the round. Always knit a gauge swatch and measure your tension before starting. You may need to change needle size to achieve the correct gauge.
