**This pattern is available both in English and French**. Stonecreek is a sweater born from a color. From the very first stitch, the yarn suggested an atmosphere made of mineral, warm and slightly dusty shades, like light grazing an open, quiet landscape. Not a specific place, but a feeling. For this design, I set myself a clear challenge: working with a highly variegated yarn without relying on all over stockinette. The texture was carefully designed to find its place within this dense field of colour, creating balance and rhythm without overpowering it. Stonecreek is a comfortable, top down sweater worked in one piece. The textured motif on the front adds depth while allowing the color to remain the main focus, shifting subtly with the light. And bonus: it also looks really good in a solid color ;) **SIZES** 1 (2 – 3 – 4) 5 – 6 (7 – 8 – 9) Finished bust measurements: 85 (96 – 106 – 117) 127 – 138 (148 – 159 – 169) cm. *Choose a size with 10 to 15 cm of positive ease, or according to your preference.* **YARN** 5 (5 – 6 – 6) 7 – 8 (8 – 9 – 9) skeins of Bulbe Bizarre « Sock extrafine » shown here in Brooklyn Bridge. Or approx. 900 (1000 – 1100 – 1200) 1320 – 1440 (1560 – 1700 – 1800) meters of yarn with a corresponding gauge. *Note: in my sample I worked with fingering weight yarn held double. Dès les premières mailles, le fil évoquait une atmosphère faite de nuances minérales, chaleureuses et légèrement poussiéreuses, comme une lumière rasante sur un paysage ouvert et silencieux. Pas un lieu précis, mais une sensation. Pour ce modèle, je me suis fixé un défi clair: travailler un fil très bigarré sans céder à la facilité du jersey intégral. La texture a été pensée pour trouver sa place dans ce tableau de couleur dense, en créant un équilibre sans prendre le dessus. Stonecreek est un pull confortable, tricoté d’une pièce, du haut vers le bas. Le motif texturé sur le devant apporte du relief tout en laissant la couleur évoluer librement selon la lumière.
