The Thing

Ever want to knit some*thing* but don’t know what? Pick up a cute skein of yarn and you’re certain it’ll be good for some*thing* someday? Well, here’s *The Thing*. I bought a skein of Amalgam 4 (Jill Draper Makes Stuff) at Fibre Space in Alexandria while visiting home, and knew I wanted it to be a constant accessory. I have always found bandana scarves to be either too wide or too short- this solves that problem. Long ends make this the perfect piece to tie over a sweater or under a jacket. Initially this wasn’t a pattern I was going to write up, but I made it once…twice…three times, then my mum made one, and honestly it’s just kind of really fun to knit and wear so *The Thing* is now released into the world.
