From forests, farmlands, and vineyards to raging rivers and spectacular canyons, there’s much to be said about the beauty of Oregon. But perhaps the most standout feature of this gorgeous Pacific Northwest state is...the waterfalls. With nearly 240 known waterfalls, you’ll find falls you can hike to, bike to, view from the top or the bottom (or even from the road), swim near, camp next to, and some you can even walk behind. Many are tall and narrow, while others are wide and shorter. Some are easy to get to via short, paved paths while others require a more adventurous route. Whatever your favorite waterfall “style”, you’ll surely find it in Oregon.
Using a single water-inspired color and a variety of cable stitches, wide and narrow asymmetrical waterfalls tumble and splash into the rivers (the ribbing) in this fun and stylized interpretation. Randomly placed mini-bobbles add to the appearance of churning water.
