Imbolc Vest

The vest is constructed from two identical front and back 'bibs' joined at the shoulder and under the arms. It is an ideal piece for using up leftover yarn as the rows look best worked in alternating, contrasting colours and/or textures. It is a made-to-measure garment that can be fit to the desired size. Any fibre or weight of yarn may be used. I used DK weight wool for a cosy winter layering piece; finer cotton could be used for a lighter spring garment. I used a size 4.00mm hook, but suit your hook size to your yarn choice.
