**PATTERN STORY** The concept of this sweater is to give the knitter tools to make their own guernsey. It’s knit at a more approachable gauge, but has plenty of options to switch out different motifs. Traditional construction is used, from cast on, to gussets, to shoulder construction. The unisex sizing makes this a perfect fit for anybody. **SKILLS NEEDED** Increasing stitches, decreasing stitches, picking up stitches. The pattern is appropriate for an intermediate knitter. **GARMENT CONSTRUCTION** The body is knit bottom up and seamed at the shoulders. The collar is then added.
