도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
This pattern is for the mouse, its outfit and accessories as well as the opening rainbow house and furniture!
Please be aware that the rainbow house is large (measurements are given below) and so this is a time-consuming project! The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication.
**You will need:**
Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used King Cole Cherished DK (equivalent to weight 3 / light worsted weight) and my finished rainbow house measures approximately 26cm tall, 32cm wide and 14.5cm deep. The mouse is 10cm tall. Please ensure that you use the same weight yarn throughout your project.
**For the rainbow house, you will need the following colours:**
* Red (approx. 310m).
* Orange (approx. 71m).
* Yellow (approx. 58.5m).
* Green (approx. 48.5m).
* Turquoise / Blue (approx. 46.5m).
* Purple (approx. 42m).
* Pink (approx. 54m).
* Inner walls / base colour - I used light blue (approx. 463m).
* Cloud colour - I used white (approx. 9m).
**For the mouse itself you will need the following colours / quantities:**
* Main mouse colour - I used pale grey (approx. 23.5m).
* Nose / ears / feet / tail colour - I used pale pink (approx. 13m).
**For the Leprechaun outfit you will need the following colours / quantities:**
* Dark green - for the jacket, hat & trousers (approx. 34m).
* Light green - for the shirt & shamrock (approx. 6.5m).
* Light Brown - for the belt & shoes (approx. 9.5m).
* Black - for the pot (approx. 17.5m).
* Yellow - for the buckle details & cheese (approx. 13m).
**For the furniture & accessories, you will need the following colours:**
* Light Brown - for the bed, chair base, bookcase & welcome mat(approx. 91.5m).
* Medium Blue - for the blanket & rug (approx. 35m).
* White - for the chair, book inner pages & cloud pillow (*approx. 60m).
* Red - for the book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 6m).
* Orange - for the book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 5.5m).
* Yellow - for the bunting, book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 9m).
* Green - for the book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 4m).
* Turquoise / Blue - for the book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 4m).
* Purple - for the book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 4m).
* Pink - for the book & rainbow wall hanging (approx. 4m).
* Light blue - for the book (approx. 2.5m).
Please Note = The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice.
**You will also need:**
* A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
* 2 buttons for the house & 2 buttons for the leprechaun outfit (the ones I used were 15mm in diameter) and a needle and thread with which to attach them.
* A pair of 6mm black safety eyes.
* Some toy stuffing.
* Some finer black yarn or thread for adding the details to the mouse’s face & to the welcome mat.
* ‘7 count’ plastic canvas. I had a 26cm x 33cm sheet (that’s 10.25 x 13.5 inches) & I used 4.5 sheets (this includes using 2 layers of plastic inside the front panel). A higher count (that’s the number of holes per inch) will mean the plastic is more bendy so stick to 7 count if possible. If your plastic feels very bendy, you may wish to insert multiple layers of plastic into the panels to make your rainbow house stronger. I source my plastic canvas (sturdy & good quality) from wool warehouse. If you use a thicker yarn than I did, I strongly recommend using more layers of plastic to help support the extra yarn weight.
* Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and some stitch markers.
**You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself.
Thank you**
