Duckweed Duckling

Duckweed is knitted flat on 2 straight needles using double knit yarn. He takes less than 50 grams of yarn and is knitted on 3mm needles. I have used 9mm toy safety eyes. An umbrella is included in the pattern which is knitted using chunky knit, again on 3mm needles. As this includes a wooden dowel and beads it may not be suitable for very young children. If you would rather use Aran (Worsted Weight) yarn please use 3.5mm straight needles, including outfits and hats, and 10mm toy safety eyes. To fit this size I would suggest you use super chunky and 3.5mm straight knitting needles for the umbrella. Duckweed Duckling has two outfits, dungarees and tutu and also includes 4 hats choices.
