¡Basta Ya! Patch

For those unfamiliar with the phrase, “¡Basta Ya!” translates to “enough,” pero it has a much stronger connotation. “Basta” is a definitive end; a complete refusal to allow injustices to continue. The phrase has been used across many protests in Spanish-speaking countries, and as Latino immigrants are targeted by the ICE Occupation in Minneapolis and the United States at large, I felt a strong desire to create a knitting pattern for and with the Latinx knitting community. The pattern is available for free, but any proceeds from the sale of this pattern will go to my local immigrant rights organization.
