Make your own wrist wraps for lifting at the gym or home accessibility.
I was getting sick of store-bought wrist wraps. They were uncomfortable and tight around that little bump on my wrist. So I was thinking, "couldn't I just crochet a better version of these?" It took a bit, but this is what I came up with. First of all, the thumb loops are actually positioned in the right place. So the wraps don't slide down and putting them on is actually one-handed. The points of contact work with the contours of your wrist instead of against them. And, because they're crochet, you can customize the colors however you want!
I needed about 1.5 skeins/spools of fashion 3 crochet thread for these. I'd recommend getting two so you can crochet each wrap using only one piece of yarn. Also, the pattern written to fit, so you may need more than I used.
