You follow a simple 2-row repeat pattern to create the garter stitch rib, while at the same time following a colour chart for the intarsia shapes. Then you knit a hood, choosing one of the two sizes, and finally attach the hood to the scarf when binding off the stitches – of course you can also knit the scarf without the hood! Additionally, the pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the intarsia join, and a trick to hide any floats that occur when a motif changes shape and you need to carry the yarn backwards or forwards. **Measurements:** Scarf: 149 cm / 58.5” long x 8 cm / 3.25” wide.
