About 160 meters of contrast color (light) fingering weight yarn. Yarn alternatives: any fingering weight yarn (sock yarn can also be used). **GAUGE** 2.0 mm 39 sts = 10 cm x 10 cm after blocking. 2.5 mm 38 sts = 10 cm x 10 cm after blocking. 30 mm 37 sts = 10 cm x 10 cm after blocking. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size.
