The January Coat

This is a block stitch 3/4 - full length coat that is made to measure using your own specific measurements. I used 4 colours of Knitco Aran yarn, 2 skeins @ 420m each of the black, dark grey and white Knitco Aran yarn, and 1 skein @ 800m of the Knitco Aran Country yarn (of which there was roughly 1/2 skein remaining, the others were used almost entirely) I also used King Cole Yumm (1.5 skeins) for the edging of the coat. The coat is made in 3 pieces - the back panel and 2 front panels are made individually and the sleeves and hood are crocheted directly on to the garment.
