The Diamond Blanket

The Diamond Cardigan and The Diamond Hat will be released in the coming months.* This blanket was inspired by one of my favourite rugs in my house. Every once in a while, I had thought that it would make a great knitting pattern. One day, I sat down to design this blanket mimicking the rug. And honestly, it took a few tries to get it right. When you move from a cable section to a non cable section, the difference in stitches has to be perfect. After several tries, I was extremely happy with the completed design. There is something inspiring about this cable stitch. I also love the stitch pattern in between. A perfect calm section to counteract the bold cable section. This pattern is fully written and fully charted. You get to chose which technique you follow. As usual, I wasn't happy producing a pattern with only one size. This pattern comes with 6 different size blankets.
