“Albor” is a Spanish word meaning the soft light of dawn. The name reflects the inspiration behind the design: a serene, natural cardigan with subtle textures and a polished finish. GAUGE 20 sts x 30 rows to 4" / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in St St, after blocking. CONSTRUCTION  This cardigan is worked from the bottom up and begins with an Italian Tubular Cast-On. The body is worked flat, with the buttonbands incorporated at the same time, flowing out of the ribbed hem. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, which are worked in the round down to a close-fitting ribbed cuff. The neckline is shaped using German Short Rows and joined with 3-Needle Bind-Off for an invisible seam. The Albor stitch pattern is featured on both the body and the sleeves. The button bands and hem are worked in a decorative ribbing
