The Granny Heart Motif PDF pattern is available to download for a low price. It includes high-quality, step-by-step photographs throughout. You will also receive an image-free, printer-friendly copy. Written using US crochet terms, with a conversion chart to help with converting into UK terms. You can use any yarn type or weight you prefer for this project. I have used #4 Aran/Worsted weight cotton yarn with a 5mm hook. My finished heart motifs measure approximately 10x10cm/4x4”. My finished Granny Heart Square measures 12x12cm/4.75x4.75”. You will need: Any weight or type of yarn in 2-4 colours (the same weight for each colour) - a total of approx. 16yds for each motif, or 26yds for each square (I have used #4 cotton yarn), A hook size recommended for your chosen yarn (I have used a 5mm hook), Yarn needle, Scissors. Optional: Thin ribbon for a bunting cord (I have just used yarn). Gauge: The exact gauge is not important, as you can use any yarn weight for this project. Just use the hook size recommended for your yarn.
