New Day Socks

**New Day Socks** were cast on quietly, on January first, as rain traced slow paths down the window. From my knitting chair, I watched the desert soften, dust washed away, the air newly clear, the old year gently carried off with every drop. The stitches followed the mood. For instance, I personally knit 64 stitch socks on a 2.25mm for a tighter gauge that fits me better. Instructions are included for selecting your size. **YARDAGE NOTE**: Socks vary extremely from person to person so yardage is really just a guesstimate. Allow extra if you are unsure.
