Calgary Bay Sweater

Calgary Bay Sweater is a cosy oversized sweater, worked from the top down in Reverse Half Fisherman’s rib stitch. First the back is worked back and forth with increases either side. Stitches are then picked up along the back yoke to form each front whilst shaping the neck and subsequently the underarms. The fronts are then joined with the back and worked back and forth and before joining to work in the round at the bottom of the button band. Stitches are picked up around the armhole for the sleeves, which are worked in the round. All edges are worked in a rib and bound off using the Italian Bind-off technique. Stitches are picked up and knitted in rib along the neck edge and then folded over and secured towards the wrong side.
