Easy Phone Case With Pocket

I originally designed this easy crochet phone case pattern for myself because I really needed a simple, practical way to carry my phone. I wanted something I could crochet quickly, using basic stitches, and finish in one sitting without overthinking the design. I also wanted a pocket for my earphones, so I added a flower granny square for that. I showed it to my family and they all wanted one too! So I made several in different colors. One could mix & match the color of the granny square for different looks. Once I realized how fast and satisfying this little phone pouch was to make, I knew I had to share it. This beginner-friendly crochet phone case is perfect if you’re looking for a quick, useful project that works up fast, uses minimal materials, and gives you a handmade accessory you’ll actually use every day. **Materials Needed** Aran / Worsted weight cotton yarn. I used Paintbox Yarns Recycled Cotton Worsted. 3 mm crochet hook Yarn needle Stitch Marker **Abbreviations Used in Pattern** Ch = Chain sc = single crochet dc = double crochet Puff = puff stitch st = stitch sts = stitches fo = fasten off **Skill Level** Intermediate **Measurements/Size** This phone case measures 9 cm in width * 15.5 cm in height (3.5 inches * 6 inches) **Yardage** I used about 28m for this project (31 yards) **Gauge** 9 sts & 4.5 rows = 5 cm in dc with 3 mm hook **Notes** - Numbers at the end of each row (in brackets) indicate the number of final stitches in that row. - Ch 2 at the beginning of a row does not count as a stitch. - Please note that I use US crochet terms. ---------------------------------------------- This is NOT for a finished physical item.
