Customizable Small Doll

Finally satisfied...I think? I've been making amigurumi dolls for years and have been working on writing my own "base" pattern that I use when making dolls. I have included color changes for basic shoe, pants, shirt, and long or short sleeves. The rest is up to your imagination. I'm a big fan of Laura Tegg. I've bought all her Little Weebee clothing patterns and use and adjust them to fit these dolls. Her hair caps work as well, so I have not included the hair cap because I use the one in her free Little Weebee pattern. This isn't a photo tutorial, just a written pattern, and assumes experience in putting together amigurumi, but I include links to YouTube videos made by others that demonstrate various techniques I use. My completed dolls were made with worsted weight acrylic yarn. Smaller dolls could be made with DK weight or even category 2 yarn. I use Herrschner's Worsted 8 for most things. For skin, I use Lion Brand Skein Tones in Nutmeg, Truffle, Cedarwood, or Almond, or Caron Simply Soft in Bone. One skein of these colors makes several dolls. I use FiberFil for the stuffing, 9 mm safety eyes, a 3.5 mm hook (I crochet yarn under for a tighter weave), and my imagination. Please enjoy.
