Maritime

Maritime is worked from the top down. First, the neckline and yoke are knitted, with short rows at the top and raglan increases worked downwards. At the same time, the delicate broken stripes are worked using the two-colour knitting technique. Once the yoke is complete, the work is divided into body and sleeves, and each section is finished separately. Along the sides of the body, decreases are worked from the waist down to the ribbing. The ribbed edges on both the body and sleeves are finished with a neat, rolled edge in reverse stockinette.
