Bow Hood

Bow Hood is a loosely fitted hood knitted with fluffy bulky-weight yarn, featuring a striped stockinette main body. An I-cord edge is worked along the brim to create a clean, contrasting finish. The bow that gives this pattern its name is formed with a double-knitted band and attached to the lower edge of the hood. Follow my Instagram: @mayinmade for a video tutorial on how to make a perfect bowknot ;) You begin by knitting the top panel, which can also be used as a gauge swatch. Stitches are then picked up along the edges of the top panel to work the hood downward. Next, stitches are picked up along the front brim while the I-cord edge is worked at the same time. The hood is finished with a double-knitted band, which is attached to the main hood as you work. **Size:** One size.
