Open Skate

**Skill Level:** Advanced Beginner With the Winter Games soon to start, this pattern celebrates figure skating. Open skate is a time when everyone is welcome to play on the rink. Knit with your team colors! The cloth is knit using mosaic garter stitch. Just one strand of color works every two rows while the other strand rests at the edge. Gauge and dimensions are provided with a DK-weight cotton yarn. Choose colors that contrast well. Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in grayscale and check the contrast between your selection(s).
