Pickles & Purls Retreat Hat

I was invited to teach a colourwork workshop at the annual Yoga & Knitting retreat I attend. The organizer wanted the workshop to be a hat project and I was inspired to design my own pattern. There is a twisted rib to make it more elastic without needing a second needle size. You can add length to the ribbing to make it foldable (make sure you have extra yarn meterage). You can add rows after the colourwork to make a taller crown. For a shorter crown knit only one round between decrease rounds.
