Bare Clear Washcloth & Face Scrubby

This washcloth and face scrubby crochet pattern has been designed for absolute beginners. Originally, what started out as a practical project for myself at home, I quickly realised the pattern would be perfect for anyone learning to crochet. It's a quick crochet pattern, using only beginner crochet stitches, which gives you something you can actually use when you're finished. Materials Needed ---------------- * **Yarn:** Worsted weight/Aran yarn. I recommend Rico Essentials Organic Cotton 100% bio yarn or Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in one colour of your choice. I used a natural/off white. The amount I used for one washcloth and one scrubby was 40grams = 68m/74 yds. * **Crochet hook:** 5mm (H) * **Other materials:** Needle, Scissors, Stitch marker Washcloth and Face Scrubby Size ------------------------------- Using the yarn and hooks specified in this pattern, my washcloth was 20cm/8" long x 20cm/8" high and my face scrubby was 7.5cm/2.9" long x 7.5cm/2.9" high. Gauge ----- Gauge is not required for this pattern, however keep tension consistent throughout. For reference, my gauge was: 8 sc stitches on 5cm / 1.9" 8 rows on 5cm / 1.9" Additional Information ---------------------- * **Pattern language:** English * **Pattern terms:** US terms * **Stitches used:** Chain, Single Crochet, Slip Stitch. * **Yarn:** The yarn choice is completely up to you, and you can change the yarn colours, weight, and material based on your own personal preference. Just be aware that the weight of your yarn may impact the hook size you need to use and the size of your final make. * **Working in rows:** All parts within this pattern are worked back and forth in rows. * **Stitch marker:** Use a stitch marker at the beginning of each row to keep track of the total number of stitches in each row. * **Copyright notice:** You are more than welcome to sell your crocheted creations using this pattern on a small scale.
