Rose Lane Cardigan

Rose Lane Cardigan is seamless worked top-down garment with relaxed dropped shoulder. The pattern features motifs of lane and eyelets roses vertically on bust and shoulders. You can make it in different yarns: wool version and mohair version. The neckband and button bands offer two options(see pic6): Left shows the small neckband with twisted rib button band; Right shows the large neckband with double-knitting button band. This pattern is a collaboration with the hand-dyed yarn brand Bon Appetit Yarn. **Size** xs ( s, m, l ) xl with 20-30cm positive ease at the bust. If you want it a fit shoulder, you can size down 1-2 and lengthen the sleeves. Models with bust circumference of 80cm-92cm wear size m for both versions. Size xs can be worn by children and teenagers, you can use smaller needles to make a children garment. **Finished measurements** See picture. The pattern motif varies slightly for each size. **Yarn** Wool versi: Bon Appetit Yarn Bouncy (Falkland) （100 g/400m）and Silk Mohair（50g/600m）held together. Color-Situationship Estimated Yardage: Bouncy 230 ( 270, 300, 330 ) 370 grams / 920 ( 1080, 1200, 1320 ) 1480 meters; Silk Mohair 75 ( 90, 100, 110 ) 125 grams / 900 ( 1080, 1200, 1320 ) 1500 meters. Mohair Version: Bon Appetit Yarn Delight Mohair （100g/400m） held single Color-Situationship Estimated Yardage: 135 ( 175, 200, 220 ) 250 grams / 675 ( 875, 1000, 1100 ) 1250 meters. **Needles** Main body: 4mm (US 6) circular needle Larger Neckband, hem and cuff: 3.5mm (US 4) circular needle Smaller Neckband, Button band: 2.75mm (US 2) (Mohair Version sample used 3mm for cuffs) Adjust needle sizes as necessary to match gauge. **Gauge** After blocking, in Stockinette stitch using 4mm needles: Wool Version: 21.5 sts × 33 rows = 10 × 10 cm （4”×4”) Mohair Version: 21 sts × 30 rows = 10 × 10 cm （4”×4”) **Notions** Stitch markers, two stitch holders or two pieces of scrap yarn, 5 buttons (φ=15mm） **Guide** The cardigan is knitted top-down seamlessly, starting from back panel with German short rows. After reaching underarm, front panels are picked up from shoulder. Front and back are joined to work flat and end with twisted rib hem. Pick up neck band first and then make button band.Sleeves are worked in round with lane texture and stockinette stitches. **Difficulty** 4 out of 5. Two videos are included in pattern. One is about the Rose Lane Motif, the other is about double knitting button band with buttonholes. The pattern was tested in Chinese version. Testers will upload their projects later.
