The Crocus sock is knit from the top down and uses yarnover, ssk, and k2tog to create a branch-like lace pattern on the leg and top-of-foot portion of the sock. First, a ribbed cuff is knit, flowing seamlessly into the lace leg portion. A classic heel flap and gusset is worked, while preserving the continuity of the lace pattern at the top of the foot. The foot portion is worked in stockinette for the bottom of the foot and lace pattern for the top of the foot. Finally, toe decreases are worked, and grafted together using the Kitchener stitch. **Materials:** 100g fingering weight sock yarn 2.00mm needles (your preferred needle type) for cuff 2.25mm needles (your preferred needle type) for main Stitch markers if desired Tapestry needle for weaving in ends **Gauge:** 32 stitches per 4 inches, after blocking. *Note on sizing:* Chart and written pattern are created for a 64-stitch sock only. You may size up or down your needles to create a bigger or smaller sock.
