Gratitude Dishcloth KAL

I’m so excited to have you join along with me in this fun year-long KAL where where mindfulness meets making. Together, we’ll knit a unique dishcloth every month to journal moments of appreciation and gratitude. As we add stitches each day, they will serve as a gentle, tangible reminder of the moments that matter. One stitch, one thought, one day at a time, this project invites us to slow down, reflect, and journal our gratitude throughout the year. If you’re new to this type of KAL, not to worry! I’ll provide plenty of tips to help you get started, including ideas for selecting your yarn colours, and printable pdf trackers for each month. You will need to choose 12 different colours of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. You will assign each colour to a category/theme for what you are grateful for that day. Each day, you’ll reflect on a simple prompt and add stitches in the colour of yarn that corresponds to the category to mark your gratitude. As the months change, so will the prompts—guiding your reflections and creating a beautiful, personal record of appreciation stitched into your cloth. Here’s how the KAL will work: each month, you’ll receive a brand new chart in your Ravelry library that will help you keep track and record your daily moments of gratitude or appreciation. Use the printable template to keep track of the yarn colours for each category and check off as you knit each day. You’ll end up with a finished dishcloth every month that will be a personal reflection of appreciation for the month. I recommend choosing colours that you love and make you happy! You can choose bright colours, muted colours, a fade - or whatever you love! We will be knitting the same pattern each month, but the prompts will be different every month and will be included in the tracker for each month
