**Size**: a (b) c. **Your head circumference**: 54-56 (56-58) 58-60 cm. **Length**: 17 (17,5) 18 cm. **Gauge**: 24 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch at needle 3,5 mm (after washing). **Needle size(s)**: 2 needle sizes are used whilst knitting the beanie. Circular needle 3 mm, 2 sets (the length 40 cm is recommended). Circular needle 3,5 mm (the length 40 cm is recommended). Double pointed needles 3,5 mm (unless the method Magic Loop is used). **Yarn**: The beanie is knitted with 2 threads held together. *1st thread:* “Cashmere Classic”, Cardiff Cashmere (112 m pr 25 g). *2. thread*: “Tilia”, Filcolana (210 m pr 25 g) or “Prime”, Cardiff Cashmere (300 m pr 25 g). **Amount**: The following amount is used for each of the 2 threads. *1st thread*: 50 g in all sizes. *2. thread*: 25 g in all sizes. **Method**: This beanie is worked in the round top-down in Stockinette Stitch. First, the crown of the beanie is shaped by a series of increases worked according to a chart, and then continued in the round in Stockinette Stitch. When reaching the hem, the work is turned so that the WS of the beanie becomes the new RS – this is done using the method German Short Rows. The hem is then worked in the round in Stockinette Stitch, and finally folded and closed using the 3-needle bind-off method to make it double layered.
