Ripples of Change Cowl

The Ripples of Change Cowl is a great stash buster for that sock yarn you've been hoarding. Lightweight yet warm, with a meditative and interesting stitch that works up quickly. This cowl was designed to be lightweight and a little loose, between 22"-26". Meeting gauge and sticking with the written chain count will result in 25" looser cowl. Instructions are included in the pattern for customizing the circumference and depth. Construction: This cowl is worked flat, first the body, then ribbing is added to each long edge before seaming the short edges. Yarn: This pattern is designed for sock sets. The main color is used for the body, and the contrast color for the ribbing. You will need at least 250yds of the main color, and 65yds of the contrast color. Materials: 4mm tunisian crochet hook with 20in cable and 3.75mm crochet hook (or hook sizes needed to obtain gauge/achieve the fabric you would like) Gauge: Detailed instructions on gauge and customization included in pattern. Ch a multiple of 3+1 (at least 25), then complete a Tunisian foundation row. [TCS, TPS] across until three stitches remain, TCS, Tunisian End Stitch. RetP. Repeat.
