Variation with the folded top gives a warmer option for those cold and windy days when your fingers need extra warmth. **Skill level** - advanced beginner. **Gauge** 22 sts / 24 rnds per 4” / 10 cm knitted in stockinette st with bigger size N after washing and blocking. **Mitt Sizes** 1 (2, 3) for hand circumference 7 (7.5, 8)” / 17.7 (19, 20.3) cm. **Yarn** **Fingering weight yarn held double approx:** *classic fingerless mitts style* 61 (69, 75) g / 272 (305, 335) yds / 249 (279, 306) m in total. *folded top style* 70 (78, 88) g / 311 (348, 389) yds / 284 (318, 356) m in total. **Needles** Size US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles with at least 32” / 81 cm cable each for working Magic Loop, or a set of 5 DPNs of each size.
