Felted Slippers

The Felted Slippers combine elegance and function. The slippers are knitted in soft wool and felted. This gives a dense, warm texture, making them perfect for chilly winter mornings. The design has a low ankle with a slight raise at the heel which allows the slippers to shape naturally to your foot, providing both comfort and a light, nice look. Inspired by Tinker Bell’s fairy tale shoes, you can choose to make them with or without a pompom — depending on whether you prefer a playful or a more minimalistic expression. The making of the slipper starts at the toe and finishes at the heel. You begin by knitting in the round, and later switch to working back and forth in stockinette stitch. Finally, the heel is closed using Kitchener stitch.
