The Rima Sweater is knitted by starting at the back from the top down to the base of the armholes. Then, both fronts are picked up and knitted separately, working from the top down to the edge of the front neck. After joining both pieces, the front is worked to the armhole, and then the front and back are joined and knitted in the round down to the hem. Pick up and knit for the sleeves and neckband. Size: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) My sample is knitted in size 1 with 25 cm/10” positive ease. Finished body circumference: 109 (109, 126, 143, 160)cm / 43 (43, 49.75, 56.5, 63)” Finished body length: 50 (55, 56, 57, 58)cm / 19.75 (21.75, 22, 22.5, 23)” Yarn: CaMaRose SNEFNUG, Color 7887; 55% Aipaca, 35% Cotton, 10% Extra Fine Merino, 120 yards/110 meters/50 grams. 9 (10, 12, 14, 16) Balls. Approx. 990 (1100, 1320, 1540, 1676) meters/1080 (1200, 1440, 1680, 1920) yards. Needles: 5.5 mm (US 9) for the body and sleeves; 4.5 mm (US 7) for the neck band. (Use circular needles ranging from 40 to 120 cm according to the requirements of each section; DPNs or preferred needles (Magic Loop) for small circumference knitting) Other Materials: Stitch markers, stitch holder cord or waste yarn, cable needle.
