Mahdia Sweater

The Mahdia Sweater is an oversized raglan sweater worked from the top down in the round, beginning with the collar which is shaped with German short rows. The collar is then folded down and joined with the cast on edge to create a double folded collar before continuing on with the yoke. The raglan increases will be setup using stitch markers, at the same time marking the placement for the cable detailing. Once the raglan increases are complete, the body and sleeves will be separated, while the sleeves are placed on hold. The cable detailing will be continued throughout the body, and then the sleeves will be picked up and knit one at a time from the stitches that were placed on hold.
