Rowe mittens

The mittens are worked from the wrist toward the fingertips, either in the round on double-pointed needles or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. Both mittens are worked the same way. The work begins with a decorative i-cord edge before continuing with the pattern. Increases are worked to shape the thumb gusset, and the mitten is shaped with decreases at the top. The pattern is structured and easy to follow, and includes photo references to help guide you through the steps. **Size**: S (M) L (XL) = small ♀ (medium ♀ / small ♂) large ♀ / medium ♂ (large ♂) **Mitten length:** 25 (27) 29 (31) cm / 9.8 (10.6) 11.4 (12.2) in **Mitten width:** 9,5 (10,5) 11,5 (12,5) cm / 3.7 (4.1) 4.5 (4.9) in **Yarn:** Rauma Vams (83 m / 91 yd) Alternative yarn: Double strand Rauma Finull. Note: Pay attention to yardage when choosing an alternative yarn. The yarn used in this pattern has a yardage of 83 meters. If the alternative yarn has a shorter yardage, you may need more skeins. **Yarn amount**: 1 (2) 2 (2) skeins Color 1, dominant color (beige)        1 (1) 1 (1) skein Color 2, non-dominant color (brown) **Recommended needles:** 4.5 mm DPNs, or the needle size required to obtain the correct gauge. If you use the Magic Loop technique, you do not need DPNs, but instead a 4.5 mm circular needle. **Gauge:** 11 sts = 5 cm / 2 in in pattern (worked in the round).
