Double Hat

> **This hat is my gift to you! Thank you for your ongoing support, for knitting my designs and for following my knitting journey in IG!** A warm and reversible double layer hat. The outer hat is worked first and the stitches for the inner hat are then picked up from the cast-on round of the outer hat. The inner hat is then worked in the opposite direction. **PATTERN INFORMATION MEASUREMENTS** One size, fits an average adult head of 22” / 56 cm. Easy to adjust, see tips in the pattern. Height: 8 ½” / 21.5 cm **YARN** approximately 284 yds / 260 m fingering weight yarn and laceweight mohair to be held together or DK-weight yarn if working with a single strand. If working with two colors as the sample, you need approximately 142 yds / 130 m each color. The outer hat is shown in Filcolana Arwetta in color 950 and Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair in color Putty. The inner hat is show in Knitting for Olive Merino and Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair, both in color Ballerina. **NEEDLES** US 4 / 3.5 mm needles (either a short circular needle for the main hat and a set of double pointed needles for the crown decreases or a long circular needle for the entire hat if using Magic loop technique) **NOTIONS** stitch markers tapestry needle for weaving in the yarn ends **GAUGE** 24 sts and 32 rows in Stockinette stitch with yarns held together = 4” / 10 cm, washed and blocked
