The Huddle Hat

> Get 20% off when you buy any two > patterns on Ravelry. The Huddle Hat has been designed as the perfect companion to the Huddle Hood, but it stands proudly on its own as a versatile, go-to beanie. Wear it sitting a little “proud” at the crown for a relaxed look, or scrunch it down for a snug, classic fit. The pattern includes instructions for three yarn weights; aran/worsted, chunky, and super chunky, and is worked in the round from the bottom up before being neatly grafted across the crown. You can choose from three different brim options, and each one can be worked in a contrasting colour if you fancy adding a bit of extra detail. **Skill Level ~** Intermediate, there are video techniques to see you through all specific instructions. **Finished Size ~** Approximately 21.5 cm/8.5” wide by 23 cm/9” tall to fit an average adult head size of 56 cm/22”-61 cm/24”. In addition, I have added suggestions for making the Huddle in sizes baby - teen/small adult, in aran weight too. Techniques ~ Long tail or provisional cast on Knit Purl Decreasing Grafting Weaving in ends **Materials/tools ~** Yarn in chosen weight 40cm/16” circular needles and DPNs in sizes given for each yarn weight Scrap yarn and crochet hook (optional) 4 stitch markers (1 to denote BOR) Darning needle **Yarn ~** Yarn Body Single Brim Double/Folded Brim Aran/Worsted 52 m/57 yds 21 m/23 yds 42 m/46 yds Chunky 48 m/52 yds 18 m/20 yds 36 m/39 yds Super Chunky. 46 m/50 yds. 13 m/14 yds 26 m/28 yds Recommended yarns include: Aran/Worsted ~ Yarnsmiths Merino Aran, Camarose DK Snefnug, Manos Del Uruguay Maxima Chunky ~ Malabrigo Chunky, Manos del Uruguay Cardo Super Chunky ~ Malabrigo Rasta, Baah Yarn Mammoth **Gauge ~** Aran/Worsted ~ 18 sts and 26 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”.
