The crochet star stitch is one of the most beautiful stitches I think you can find! The unique design is like little twinkles of yarn all over your project! And, thankfully, it's not nearly as difficult to crochet as you would think, especially with step by step photos. It works up quickly in this beanie pattern since it uses size 5 yarn.
