Starting at the neckline, the yoke is worked with raglan increases while knitting the lace pattern. The sleeves and body are separated at the underarms. The body is worked straight without shaping in the round and finished with an I-cord bind-off. The sleeves are worked in the round and either gradually increased for flared cuffs after the elbow or decreased for tapered sleeves. Both styles are finished with an i-cord bind-off. The neck band stitches are picked up around the neck cast-on edge, shaped with decreases along the front neck, and completed with a double-layered 1×1 rib neckband.
